Villain Era (Star Stone)

How do we fight back when we are cyberbullied because of an edit? In the age of misogyny, bite me! Sometimes, as women, we’re told to “be a sweet, good girl!” But honestly, who can brush off the constant judgement from others? It’s time to set our boundaries and tell those busybodies, “Worry about yourself!” Let the haters and trolls do their thing, especially on social media, where we seem to live a whole other life. This one woman, multimedia comedy show tells the story of how Star Stone was cast in a YouTube reality competition show, and the life changing “villain edit” that follows. It’s an excellent performance, both funny and emotional, which raises important questions about misrepresentation, social media, and online shaming.
