ThreeWeeks at Edinburgh Festival 2025

ThreeWeeks has been covering the Edinburgh Festival every year since 1996 and we will be back again this August, eager to see great shows and meet brilliant performers. Read on to find out more about this year’s coverage, how to put your show forward for consideration and how to join the ThreeWeeks review team.

THREEWEEKS 2025 COVERAGE

We publish all our coverage of the Edinburgh Festival on both the ThreeWeeks website and in the TW Weekly email bulletin, published every Tuesday all year round, with bonus editions each Friday during the Festival.

Our coverage of Edinburgh Festival 2025 will include…

Threes To See: ThreeWeeks Co-Editor Caro Moses will be recommending shows to see at this year’s Festival, tapping into our three decades of experience reviewing at the Fringe and our year-round coverage of culture in London. Her tips will be published in handy sets of three on the website from late July.
Q&As: We’ll be interviewing some of our favourite performers who have shows at this year’s Festival, with Q&A interviews popping up on the website from mid-June through to the end of August. There’ll also be updates on all the latest Q&As on our social media and in the TW Weekly bulletin.
TW:Talks: Our podcast hosted by ThreeWeeks Co-Editor Chris Cooke will return, with interviews with comedians and other performers who are appearing at the Fringe this August. New editions will start appearing on the ThreeWeeks website – and via your podcast app of choice – from early August.
Reviews: The ThreeWeeks review team will be checking out shows as soon as the Fringe previews begin on 30 Jul. We aim to see a diverse mix of shows from across the Fringe – and the wider Edinburgh Festival – covering as many genres and venues as possible. Reviews will start appearing on the website and in the TW:Weekly bulletin from early August.
Edinburgh Backstage: TW:Backstage is where we delve into developments and debates in the cultural and creative industries. With Edinburgh Backstage we will be delving into developments and debates around the world’s biggest cultural festival, and covering what’s happening within the Fringe community.
