Three children’s shows

Three children’s shows at the Edinburgh Festival 2025…

Monsterrrr! With Trygve Wakenshaw | Assembly George Square Gardens | until 17 Aug
I think Scottish children are back to school relatively soon, so I reckon they deserve a Fringe treat or two before they go, right? Visitors from other areas who are off until September are allowed too though, obv. Anyway: you may well have seen the brilliant Trygve Wakenshaw doing grown up shows, so you probably know what greatness to expect, let the kids experience it too. Find the edfringe listing here.

Comedy For The Curious: Animals! | Laughing Horse @ West Nic Records | until 24 Aug
We’re big fans of marine biologist turned multi-award-winning comedian Robyn Perkins’ ‘Comedy For The Curious’, so we’re happy to be recommending the children’s version. It’s a fun filled show of comedy, science, music and games focused on animals, and features another award winner, comedian and musician Marc Burrows. Find the edfringe listing here.

toooB | Pleasance Courtyard | until 25 Aug
This one’s actually for teeny tots, so their life is one long holiday, frankly, they’re not “going back” anywhere imminently. But they do deserve to see this lovely and stimulating show designed for kiddies aged six to 24 months, which features toooB, a shape shifting…  something? Alien? Whatever she is, she offers a wordless, interactive and sensory experience. Find the edfringe listing here.
