We follow him as he discovers his newfound passion for running, navigates his first crush, and overcomes a significant obstacle while his career is taking off. Julia Locascio displays her directing prowess, every part of the stage is utilised and every element has lighting, sound, or action. Ben Norris sprints across the stage, giving the performance everything he has: we feel every emotion his character experiences. Furthermore, he has written a witty, inspirational, and riveting piece that doesn’t stop until it crosses the finishing line. Worthy of a gold medal.
