Stuff (Sean Kempton)
By Lucrezia Pollice | Published on Sunday 28 August 2016
Internationally acclaimed Cirque Du Soleil alumnus Sean Kempton displays his diverse and startling, physical, creative, and comedic abilities in this excellent clown show. Inspired by a question from his six year old daughter – “what is love?”, Kempton investigates the essence and force of this crucial, essential and human, yet intangible thing. Brilliant, beautiful and hysterical moments roll into one another endlessly, and there’s not a moment of boredom in this witty and well-constructed piece. It offers exactly the right balance when looking for something light: funny, theatrical but with a distinctive, meaningful theme. Adults, teenagers, children… it is a show that everyone will enjoy!
Assembly George Square, until 29 Aug.
