The Sheeps boys are back for their first Edinburgh show in six years. Once fresh-faced up-and-comers of the burgeoning Fringe sketch scene, they now feel like one of the last troupes standing from a bygone era. But that hasn’t stopped them from assembling a virtuosic hour. The distinct delivery styles of the three Sheeps – Al Roberts, Daran “Jonno” Johnson and Liam Williams – slot together with the satisfying click of performers who know each other inside out. The sketches assail you with gag after gag after gag until you’re gasping for air. In their years away, the three Sheeps found individual success across TV, novels and stand-up, and they claim this is their last Fringe show. Selfishly, I hope it isn’t.

Pleasance Courtyard, until 25 Aug.
