Some memories are worth playing back, though others maybe not. We follow a partly true story of Euan Munro’s youthful YouTube channel and his rise to online stardom, through which, once looking back, he notices the darkness that he once was blind to. Split into live theatre and pre-recorded or archival laptop videos, it depicts an evolution of the screenlife sub-genre on stage. We connect easily with Euan, who gives an enthusiastic performance that showcases his range to some extent, although I strongly believe he has more to offer. Meanwhile, the script is reflective and highly topical but could be stronger once connecting these themes to the present day. You will keep rewinding this in your head long after seeing it.
