Ye cannae beat a pure Scottish camping trip. As four gals embark on an outdoors adventure to escape their ‘normal’ lives, they realise it’s harder than it looks, with their friendship getting tested. The story shined when focusing on this friendship, and through moments of humorous content such as the party bar scene. It works incredibly well, and results in a comedy with heart, with a cast truly enjoyable to watch. When it got serious or raised awareness, though, I wished it would go further, to draw me more into these characters’ feelings. The show is female produced and led, but contains something for everyone, with Mirren Wilson’s script providing moments and characters that we can can relate to. Taisbeanadh air leth… A fantastic show.
