This may be the most accurate title in the Fringe! Writer and actor Ivo Müller unleashes a torrent of language and ideas, drenching the audience in rich philosophical enquiry and poetic discourse. At first, I struggled against the tide, trying to hold on to every argument, every image; but, once I surrendered to the ebb and flow of words, I was carried away by the intensity of the performance. The relentless monologue exploring life, death and art is punctuated by fourth-wall breaking interludes, by moments of physicality and shadow-puppetry, and even by an extended sequence where Müller eats an apple in silence. I can’t, in all honesty, say I caught every single word, but I felt the deeper truth, nonetheless.
