Murder She Didn’t Write (Degrees of Error & Something for the Weekend)
By Lewis Frain | Published on Monday 28 August 2017
The improvised murder mystery returns to the Fringe for another year and remains a real stand out. As with most improv shows, proceedings kick off with the audience shouting suggestions: one lucky member chooses the setting and the clue, then the cast privately select the killer and the victim. The ensuing play is devised with a great deal of creativity, and with a totally different mystery occurring with every performance, this is a show that demands to be revisited. The standard of improvisation in this show really is superb, as the performers able to present a clear, plot driven yet humorous and mysterious show with practised ease. This company’s interesting starting point leads to outstanding performances delivered by a seriously talented cast.
