Miranda amongst Television Festival line-up

A former Edinburgh Fringe regular, and now one of British telly’s most famous comedy faces, Miranda Hart, will give a keynote interview at this year’s Edinburgh International Television Festival, the big TV industry event that takes place towards the end of Edinburgh’s festival month.
Hart, who first rose to attention via her Fringe shows, will discuss her career to date as part of the conference, it was confirmed last week.
Elsewhere Vince Gilligan, creator and exec producer of popular US show ‘Breaking Bad’ will lead a masterclass, Brian ‘son of Jim’ Henson will discuss the art of puppetry on the big and small screen, and Kevin Spacey will deliver the festival’s keynote MacTaggart lecture, the event that usually captures the headlines outside of the industry-only event.
