Who is Micky Overman’s doppelganger and what does she want from a relationship? Her partner is well trained, and delivers compliments in the carefully selected, apt but minimal words she wants to hear. Micky charmingly explores modern life, relationships, the need for babies, validation, and dutiful partner and friend responses alongside, um, Microsoft Excel. Why Excel? Well, watch the show for a charming yet brilliant hour of stand-up comedy at the heart of this excellent performer’s world. The topics of commitment and a longing to be loved are beautifully navigated and wonderfully humorous, and the show has my wholehearted recommendation. Thankyou for allowing us into your world and, in the words of the pre-recorded gym instructor guru: “You got this Micky!”.
