Have you ever had someone make a comment about you that has never left your head, even decades later? That’s the basis for Michelle Brasier’s show, the title being a comment a friend made before the two of them made the jump to high school. But there is a stronger focus on celebrating your own weirdness, as Brasier dedicates the show to the ‘freaks’ of the world. Brasier is joined by her partner, Tim, who gives musical accompaniment to her original songs and also lends his voice to several characters. The show occasionally veers wildly off-topic, including with a long song about the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise; however, Brasier has a delightful energy that keeps the audience’s attention for the hour.
