This one-person show engages the audience from the moment you arrive and it’s all due to the contagious energy of K. Lorrel Manning who wrote and performs it with style and grace. He immediately opens his arms to invite you into his heart as well as his story. This highly personal narrative about his own strength and resilience during challenging events that occurred in his youth, brings us on an emotional journey. He touches on universal themes that are relatable regardless of whether you are American, or from the south. The direction of the piece is clear and helps highlight his authenticity.
