To be honest, I really didn’t know what to expect from Lil Wenker and her director Cecily Nash. But, ‘Bangtail’ is an epic journey with audience participation that blows the roof off the venue with laughter level ten. Lil Wenker is superb. From the exaggerated character traits to the audience interaction and the highest level of skilled clowning on display, this is a must see show. Wenker’s excellence is clearly not a secret, given the packed out audience, and I could seriously have quite happily seen the show a second time back to back. With the baddest cowboy in Texas and the best accountant in Minnesota, this was one hundred percent pure clownery and playfulness with lashings of situation comedy and audience interaction on top. Sheer, brilliant, well executed madness.
