Iain Dale: All Talk With Humza Yousaf (Seabright Live)

In perhaps the largest contrast to previous guest Liz Truss, Yousaf’s personality came through more than any media appearance from when he was First Minister. In his biggest difference with Truss, he took responsibility for faults he had made in the course of his political career. He admitted he’d “fucked up” by sacking the Greens, and iterated that every recent SNP leader had partial responsibility for the poor general election result. Aside from a hypothetical question about the economic future of Scottish Independence, there were comprehensive answers, as well as more emotive (yet productive and insightful) conversations around the current right wing riots and Gaza.

Pleasance at EICC, one date only (though events with other guests through to 11 Aug).
