Have you ever wondered what the last words of an American president were? Or how Weird Al Yankovic can be connected to the Civil War? If so, Sheehan’s ‘Hilarious History’ might be the right choice for you. Sheehan does a great job with such an intimate crowd, regardless of how much knowledge of American history they may have, using jokes, slides and an overabundance of knowledge to keep the room entertained. While some things may get lost on a mostly non-American audience, Sheehan is able to customise parts of the show based on viewer demographics, with one highlight being a ‘Hot or Not’ segment and another being a guessing game of which historical figure is responsible for which quotation!
