Grace Mulvey is having a hellish time but she doesn’t want to go on about it. Welcome to a vibrant, engaging and likeable name on the comedy circuit who I’m surprised isn’t on TV already. This is straight down the line great stand up without gimmicks or subgenre twists. If you’re after an instantly welcoming stage presence, Mulvey’s your gal. She offers material that feels true to life, with a fresh take on some otherwise pretty standard fare topics. Yes, there will be the familiar territory of dating apps and bottomless brunch, but that’s because it’s her life: it’s all instrumental in her feelings of needing a responsible adult on hand. You’ll be inviting her to the next bottomless brunch.
