Fringe’s musical awards presented

The winners of the Music Theatre Matters Awards were announced yesterday, and look, here they are listed together. Check out the full list of nominees in this earlier report here.
In addition to the main prizes, the judging panel also made special awards to C Venues for its continued support for musicals at the Fringe, and to Song Of The Goat Theatre for their Summerhall show ‘Songs Of Lear’ which the judges say was “an experimental work showing excellence in where the musical form may develop”.
