If you’ve ever wanted to watch ‘Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’ but only have an hour instead of the required 178 minutes (or 208 minutes if it’s the extended version!), Recent Cutbacks has the show for you. Three actors and one Foley artist come together to form a fellowship forged in the fires of fast farce, using props and some costume changes to take on all nine members of the Fellowship, as well as dozens of background characters. There is a particularly impressive scene that involves shadow puppets, a part so great that it gets applause during the bit. ‘Fly, You Fools!’ is a hilariously perfect and perfectly hilarious tribute to the iconic ‘Lord of the Rings’.
