Fancy spending twenty minutes in a pitch-black shipping container thinking about death? Immersive show ‘FLIGHT’ offers just that. The pre-brief builds the hype by offering a get-out clause before you embark, and assigning an allocated seat in a shipping container decked out like a passenger plane. Quickly, you are plunged into darkness with only headphone audio guiding you through a tumultuous ride. Set across two parallel realities, ‘FLIGHT’ charts different outcomes to the same journey. Thought-provoking commentary on what it means to survive and die accompanies haunting audio, making you really live the experience. To say more would be to say too much. The passengers left my flight buzzing (and a little shell-shocked): not for the faint-hearted, but highly recommended.
