Tim Key – Single White Slut (The Invisible Dot Ltd)
By Raphael Highgate-Betts | Published on Sunday 31 August 2014
Performer, comedian, poet, Tim Key’s got a lot going on. His latest Edinburgh offering is a bed-centric look at his past conquests, and his irate humour, constant shouting and stamping of boots come together to create a loud bombardment of humour in which it becomes impossible to miss the joke. Bold, brief poetry punctuates the show and there is some rather surprisingly beautiful choreography thrown in too. Quirky anecdotes on women, owls, India and the like have the crowd in stitches. Key’s story telling is rooted in passion, making his overzealous approach even more endearing. One hour of loud laughing, loud jokes and an even louder denim onesie.
Pleasance Courtyard, until 25 Aug.
