David Trent – Live At The Pleasance Courtyard

By | Published on Sunday 31 August 2014

The is one comedian who knows how to make an entrance and given his fist pumping, dub step laced arrival, David Trent could have been forgiven for failing to live up to his own hype. This of course does not happen, and it’s not a surprise, for Trent is known for his intelligent, furious and hilarious brand of social commentary and does not disappoint with his latest show. This time the set’s targets are broader, ranging from Robin Thicke, to Michael Gove, to the unnecessary public raising of fists. And if you’re still not convinced, a portion of the show is dedicated to Nick Griffin’s cooking blog and is even funnier than you’re imagining right now. Perfect comedy.

Pleasance Courtyard, until 24 Aug.
