Beside The Greenside (Mardy Arts)
By Rory Morgan | Published on Thursday 29 August 2013
Finding the madness of the Fringe too much? Well then, this is definitely the pick-me-up you need. The Greenside has a small collection of games and tents, but frankly the nicest thing to do here is to sit back with a cup of tea and have a chat with Queenie (one of the colourful inhabitants). There’s pleasant vinyl music to listen to and a laid back vibe that is something of a rare find at the fringe. However, it would not be unreasonable to suggest that there could be a lot more going on, and the lack of publicity may prove too quiet for some. Nevertheless, the Greenside serves as a much needed oasis during the August craziness.
Greenside, until 24 Aug (except 18, 19), 1.00pm.
