Breakfast Plays – Clean (Traverse Theatre Company)
By Lyndsay Snoddon | Published on Sunday 25 August 2013
It’s 9.00am and you are still half asleep – whether that be because you’ve just rolled out of bed or because you haven’t been to bed yet. ‘The Breakfast Plays’ at the Traverse are a theatrical equivalent to your morning coffee. Whilst you nibble away on a morning feast (provided by the Trav) a fantastic piece of theatre rejuvenates you, leaving you feeling fresh and energised. ‘Clean’ is an enjoyable show which combines three very different and very entertaining characters. My morning moods were quickly replaced by an abundance of laughter. It is clever, witty and powerful. What better way to start your day?
Traverse Theatre, until 25 Aug, 9.00am.
