The Magnets – All This Time (The Magnets and Underbelly Productions)
By Stephanie Gray | Published on Saturday 17 August 2013
The Magnets return to Edinburgh for another festival of top class a cappella performances. Well practised and now hugely experienced, the six vocalists have every reason to be confident. Their harmonies are sharp and sung with such certainty that you almost have to do a double take – is this really live? Always looking for ways to evolve their act, this time they hand lead vocals over to bass singer Fraser for a song or two; a triumph with the crowd. Throw a few gags into the show alongside flawless choreography and it’s another faultless performance from one of The Fringe’s regular sell out shows. The Magnets should be top of every festival goer’s list, every year.
Underbelly Bristo Square, until 26 Aug (not 12), 5.50pm.
