In The Pink – Fabulous Female A Cappella! (In The Pink)
By Alix White | Published on Thursday 22 August 2013
Oxford University’s award-wining all female a cappella group return for their ninth year at the Fringe. It’s difficult to not feel envious of these young women, they clearly have it all – brains, beauty and talent by the bucket load! The entire show was incredibly uplifting and the more cheesy numbers would have given the ‘Glee’ cast a run for their money. My personal highlight was the finale – a Destiny’s Child’s ‘Survivor’ and Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Hero’ mash-up, however I enjoyed every single song throughout the show. With such a range of truly fantastic voices this group could sing absolutely anything and make it their own. Every single one of these women could be a recording artist – look out for their names in lights!
C, until 23 Aug, 4.30pm.
