Paul Merton’s Impro Chums (Mick Perrin Worldwide)
By Alix White | Published on Tuesday 13 August 2013
Highly acclaimed comedian and ‘Have I Got News For You’ team captain Paul Merton didn’t disappoint for a single second of this hour long improv extravaganza! Merton and his Impro Chums took scenario suggestions from the audience and created a string of hysterical sketches – each one more clever and weird than the last. From a yoga class to The Northumbrian Border War of the late Middle Ages (don’t worry, I don’t have the vaguest clue either), there was no suggestion too wacky for this fantastic selection of comedians. There wasn’t a dull moment throughout the entire show – this is improvised comedy at its very finest, by the best in the business.
Pleasance Courtyard, until 17 Aug, times vary.
