Employees Of The Month – Glenn Moore And Friends (Glenn Moore)
By Stephen Maughan | Published on Saturday 31 August 2013
This show barely deserves to be called ‘comedy’, as it featured four uninspiring stand-up comedians delivering nothing but lacklustre drivel from start to finish. The compère lacked the creativity to warm up the audience and kicked the show off to a stuttering start. This incompetence was followed by So You Think You’re Funny 2012 finalist Glenn Moore, who came with lame one liners and poor audience interaction. The third performer’s lifeless routine explored her Welsh roots with flat and awkwardly clichéd material. Concluding on a low note, the final comic’s uncomfortable set failed to get the audience laughing at all. In case you haven’t guessed, this truly awful show is not a good way to spend an hour of your time.
Laughing Horse @ The Counting House, until 26th August, 8.00pm.
