Dressing Down (Haggard)
By Sarah Virgo | Published on Friday 9 August 2013
Don’t be surprised to see the young trio in ‘Dressing Down’ prancing around half-naked in tutus, or dressed as mermaids. The show is based around a magic wardrobe, which gives an excuse for a series of sketches requiring several different costume changes, and there really are a lot of them – over 60 costumes in 50 minutes! The minor wardrobe malfunctions and timing issues were handled fantastically and just added even more humour to the performance. It catered to all ages, with the humour ranging from the downright silly to poking fun at the Scottish independence debate. Full of hilarious one-liners and puns, ‘Dressing Down’ is a real highlight of this Fringe’s comedy line-up.
Gilded Balloon Teviot, until 26 Aug (not 12), 3.00pm.
