Don’t Drop The Egg (Live Nation Presents…)
By Jessica Cropper | Published on Thursday 15 August 2013
This show is so funny that you’ll be giggling as soon as you take your seat. The performance revolves around three young rugby players; a cocky dick, a loveable goof, and the inevitable level-headed one. The three actors play up to their stereotypes beautifully, and the result is a hilarious show, with an excellent glimpse into the folly of youth. The audience takes on the role of other team members in the locker room, with a few getting far more involved. There is a slight unevenness in the quality of the acting, with some performers appearing stronger than others, but the overall standard remains solid and the script saunters along, awash with side-splitting quips.
Pleasance Courtyard, until 26 Aug (not 12), 3.30pm.
