Charlie Chuck’s Grande Night Out (Charlie Chuck Productions)
By Alice Harrold | Published on Monday 26 August 2013
This is Fringe weirdness at its best! Chuck is the ultimate in absurd comedy, with his own unique mixture of comedy and cabaret, but not as you think you know it. The show is being performed for just five nights, and I can imagine it will be completely different each night. Chuck has something of a cult following of course, with some in the audience laughing every time he even looked at them, but it was funny for the newbies too. He is accompanied on stage by Randy Rimmer, the “famous rockstar”, who took up half the time singing comedy rock numbers. The crowd were less taken by the singing, unfortunately, and presumably expected more from the named star.
theSpace @ Symposium Hall, until 24 Aug, 7.00pm.
