Bespoke Comedy For The Discerning Family (Foghorn Improv / Free Festival)
By Alice Taylor | Published on Tuesday 6 August 2013
‘A drunk Glaswegian Gollum translating for a Spanish family’: you’d struggle get your mind around that accent, let alone try and create it. All of which serves to make the attempts even more hilarious. The Foghorn Improv trio are charming, engaging and very friendly. The premise is a series of improvised mini games created with suggestions from the audience and so every show is unique. Yes, it is a slight shambles, accents are often dodgy and the games can occasionally seem a little trivial, but this all adds to the overall charm. Not necessarily a show for the discerning adult but perfect for a family. Also includes free biscuits.
Laughing Horse @ The Free Sisters, until 11 Aug, 10.15am.
