Age Against The Machine (Viv Gee)
By Lizzie Milton | Published on Saturday 31 August 2013
Viv certainly has a lot of enthusiasm; it’s was just a pity that most of her material was under developed, and and that her set had very little structure to it. Her performance was centred around how she feels as a woman getting older, and this could be an interesting topic, except it was done with little insight; the material felt a bit tired and her punch lines were obvious. That said, she is a good performer with a bundle of enthusiasm and energy to keep the audience engaged, despite the lack of enticing content. Viv Gee is certainly not devoid of talent, it is just a pity the writing didn’t match her performance.
