Adam Buxton – Kernel Panic (The Invisible Dot Ltd)
By Helena Wadia | Published on Friday 9 August 2013
Comedian, actor and radio presenter Adam Buxton brought his show ‘Kernel Panic’ to the Fringe for four nights only. With his self-aware comedic style and a reliance on technology, Buxton explores how we present ourselves online in the 21st century. Or, as he puts it, it’s “a wander around the contents of my laptop, basically showing you random bits of shit”. A mixture of anecdotes, YouTube comment bashing and picking apart music videos and adverts, Buxton’s style is individual and thoroughly entertaining. For this extension of his hit show ‘Bug’, Buxton was rewarded with raucous laughter throughout the night. An original and painfully funny show – for the lucky ones who got tickets.
Assembly Hall, until 5 Aug, 10.30pm.
