Absolute Improv! (To Be Continued…)
By Sophie Nicoll | Published on Sunday 11 August 2013
This family-friendly improv group keep the kids happy with their cheery, simple style of comedy. The show is a fairly standard take on the traditional improv format, but they do what they do with enthusiasm. The starring trio bounce off each other well, all showing their quirky personalities throughout the show. Musical skits ended up being the most successful, getting hysterical laughs from both adults and children. Though sometimes a little slow on their feet, the group built momentum towards the end and soon had everyone involved and excited. Part of the joy of improvised comedy is that it’s completely different every night, so pay ‘Absolute Improv!’ a visit and have a bit of good clean fun.
