Aaron Twitchen’s Princess Guide To Dating (Aaron Twitchen / Free Festival)

‘Princess Power’ is well and truly revived with Aaron Twitchen’s hyperactive, very camp stand-up; as through his three favourite princesses, he provides expert advice on the best way to find your very own prince. At times the humour generated purely by Twitchen’s personality outweighs that of the material: the content of the set is only reasonably funny, but in his flamboyant hands it verges on hilarious. He has stacks of energy and charisma, showcased especially in a Spice Girls finale that brings the house down. Straight, gay, it really doesn’t matter; if you’re game for a laugh, you’ll enjoy the show.
