A-Z Of Backpacking – Free (Jody Kamali)

Sadly, this observational comedy show is lacking in comedy or any interesting observations. The backpacking theme is conveyed via a power-point presentation, listing clichéd aspects of travelling. Examples include: how hostel dorms are normally messy. How Australians like to drink. And how people don’t form queues in India. Jody Kamali is not remotely funny, beginning each sentence with the phrase ‘I just love the guy that…’ even when this includes “the guy” that woke him up by snoring. It really is that basic, with Kamali ending the show by showing pictures of fairly average people met upon his travels. Personally, I would sincerely recommend that you pack your bags and head for a different comedic destination.
