ED2013 3/5 Reviews ED2013 Children's Shows Reviews
CeilidhKids At The Fringe (CeilidhKids)
By Jade Wilson | Published on Friday 30 August 2013
Jump out of bed to go to this dance workshop for preschool children and their families, and it’ll warm you up for a day of seeing shows. The Edinburgh-based company expertly lead everyone through the steps of traditional Scottish dances, as well forming a train, trees and frogs; a great introduction for little ones to Scotland’s heritage. It is requested that mums, dads or grandparents should be brought along as dancing partners but local nursery groups are welcome too, and there was a lovely mixture of residents and festival-goers. With plenty of smiles but a few tears too, CeilidhKids is certainly worth a try, especially since it doesn’t cost a penny.
Laughing Horse @ The Counting House, until 25 Aug (not 6, 13, 20).
