Absolute Improv Stories (To Be Continued)
By Grace Brennan | Published on Tuesday 20 August 2013
The art of improvising can largely depend on the audience’s imagination, so what tougher crowd could there be than children? Luckily this talented group of four are ready for the challenge. They did an excellent job of creating a truly unique tale with a coherent flow. Their high energy and sharp interactions produced clever dialogue, as well as a physically entertaining show, which on several occasions had the adults laughing harder than the children. The cast are effective actors, working particularly well as a team to tie the strange themes together and even offering a surprise moral lesson in the final scene. Expect a three-headed dragon, toilet humour, fancy dress and most of all – the unexpected!
