ED2012 2/5 Reviews ED2012 Theatre Reviews
Treasure In Clay Jars (Ezekiel Bread)

It took me a little while to find this venue; once I did, it was hard to identify where I should go to see the performance. After five minutes of loitering, someone led me in the direction of the main church hall where I was greeted by three enthusiastic Americans. As slips were handed out asking “what does faith in twenty-first century mean to you?”, it dawned on me that what I was about to experience was less ‘fringe theatre’ and more a debate about faith and God: not really my sort of thing, to be honest. And I don’t think I was alone. True, these three Yale divinity students brought lots of energy to the table, but their audience was slightly less enthused, with one guy nodding off in the front row.
