Return Of The Close-Up Magician (Lewis Barlow)
By Veronika Kallus | Published on Friday 24 August 2012
There will be no ladies sawn in half, no rabbits drawn from hats. This is also not a comedy show- you might still like it though! With the most simple means, Lewis Barlow astonishes the audience and makes jaws drop in awe. Cards, coins, strings and a phone book are all he needs. How does he do it? The audience is too close… you can watch every little movement… but still: how does he do it? You don’t believe your eyes after a while. And through all of this he guides us with a light and friendly manner, even explaining some of his skills, so you can’t believe he would ever cheat you. Which means it has to be real magic, right?
