Legs 11 (Tom Marshman)

Tom Marshman took a story about his legs and ran with it, following their destiny. This is a show about his legs’ journey through hardships, humiliation, and how they found their courage. It’s imaginative, poetic, and uplifting, and, whilst it’s slow at the beginning, it picks up in pace once the story about Pretty Polly modelling gets going. The sound quality on his microphone and video projections is problematic, but Marshman still engages with his audience in an interesting manner, going as far as filming their legs and reconstructing his varicose veins out of straws. By the end of the show, people agree that Marshman has a very nice pair of legs – and we look at our own in a new light.
