It’s My Wonderful Life (Charles Michael Edmonds)
By James Valentine | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
This dramatic story follows the downward spiral that Charles Michael Edmonds suffered in the 1990s as his cocaine addiction dragged him into a life of crime, violence and dealing on the streets of New York. Edmonds’ story is astonishingly brave and endearing, as he gives an intimate insight into his inner demons and journey towards sobriety. His story hinges on the emotional relationship with drugs that causes so many to suffer addiction and tells how his favourite film helped him to finally sort his life out. Giving a star rating for somebody’s life story is impossible, but as for Edmonds’ manner, impressions and ability to paint detailed pictures along the way his show definitely deserves praise.
