ED2012 5/5 Reviews ED2012 Musical Reviews
Les Misérables (School Edition) (Captivate Drama)
By Katie Cunningham | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
This is a brilliant, professional-standard performance, and there’s no better way to sum up how well everything was done – from the sets to the singing, acting, casting and the music. Sweeping the audience along for an enjoyable ride, the main cast were wonderful, but the excellent supporting performers were also essential in bringing the this distinctive and famous musical to life in a fresh and original way. In fact it’s difficult to suggest anything that could be improved here, and hard to imagine this being much better, especially as the cast is so young. Not many shows at the Fringe get standing ovations, and if nothing else, experiencing that makes this worth going to see.
