Nothing To Show (Watch This Improv Troupe)
By Ellie Willis | Published on Friday 24 August 2012
Attending improv is a tricky business, as one never knows what they’re going to get; However, Nothing to Show is a spectacular exhibition of quick wit and goofiness bound to get you laughing. Creating an entire performance based on one word that the audience suggests (the word was ‘wave’ in this particular show), these six improvisers wow the audience with four different skits about waves: a pirate after ‘Doby Mick’, a nerd who created a dating machine using waves to power it, and a romance between the Cliffs of Dover and a wave. A very impressive mixture of song, dance, and wit, Nothing to Show delivers a quirky and fun show with little hesitation on delivery.
