Mark Restuccia – How To Succeed At Internet Dating (Something For The Weekend)

There is no doubt that Mark Restuccia is a talented joke writer; the accolades for his one-liners make that perfectly clear. Unfortunately, he is not a great comedy performer, meaning that many of his undoubtedly witty material is lost behind his mumbling and somewhat lackadaisical style. The title speaks for itself; Restuccia explores the wild world of internet dating with the tired eye of an exasperated but keen user of the forum, and while many of his anecdotes are hilarious – as are his asides – his presentation just does not offer the gaiety or clarity necessary to fully appreciate the talent on display. If Restuccia can sort out this issue then he will soon become a far more accomplished performer.
