Firenado! The Sketch Show (Firenado! The Sketch Show / PBH’s Free Fringe)
By David O’Connor | Published on Wednesday 22 August 2012
Firenado, in case you’re wondering, is not only the name of this sketch outfit, it is also a tornado made of fire. This isn’t particularly important when it comes to enjoying this sketch show, but I’m glad they’ve brought the term to the public’s attention. The sketches here follow the traditional hit, hit, miss formula but impressively for this genre none of them fall too far from the mark. The stand-out sketches involve a look into the life of Nick Clegg, an all too real advertising executive and an outstandingly immature but completely hilarious word game. There are a lot of wigs, quite a lot of innuendo and thankfully, a good few laughs.
