Eddie Pepitone’s Bloodbath (Eddie Pepitone)
By Claire Hoyda | Published on Friday 31 August 2012
Why does he live in America? Eddie Peppitone’s first time in Europe and he is playing the Fringe… my, we have been treated. In a bit of an inconsistent set, Peppitone takes us through a variety of material ranging from the normal to the weird, and most of it hits the mark; when it doesn’t, it is Peppitone himself who is the first to point it out and generate laughter from its failure. His hat material was wonderful, as well as the ending (which I shall not spoil). He’s most definitely a sleeper hit and one of those performers they call “a comic’s comic”, so if you want to know what the cool comedy kids like then head on down to see Peppitone.
Just The Tonic at the Caves, 2-26 Aug (not 14), 11.40pm.
