E4 Udderbelly Podcalf 2012 (Underbelly And Dabster Productions)
By Simon Thornton | Published on Thursday 23 August 2012
An hour of chat, music and sketches from different acts each day, the E4 Podcalf is more than likely to include something that tickles your fancy. Richard Melvin hosts the hour-long show, but as it’s a recording don’t expect everything to run smoothly or make linear sense as parts are recorded out of synch to be edited later. The line-up for my show was a wonderful mix of comedy types and Fringe performers, Alan Davies being the star guest. Other highlights included snippets from ‘EastEnd Cabaret’ and Adam Kay who each amused the audience with a medley of funny songs. The Podcalf is a very entertaining way to get a feel for the Fringe.
Underbelly Bristo Square, 3-26 Aug (not 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21), 1.00pm.
